Our own correspondent: Linien Primae

Fact is, the landing didn’t go well. The Spirit of Eden is busted up. The other craft didn’t have an easy time of it either – atmospheric contamination killed propulsion. The Serendipity landed to the north, distress signal transmitting but no comms so I’ve sent a search party.

Gjoa isn’t happy with us landing, but it’d be another 8 years before we get to another habitable planet like his. Chiseller hacked their GPS and got the map below of habitable sections near Gjoa’s citadel.

Erebus

Why he chose Erebus as a name is a concern – in Greek mythology it was a region of the Underworld where the dead had to pass immediately after dying. So, not good.

Crew still malnourished so hoping to ID plant life we can grow hydroponically back in the hive (left in orbit over Erebus).

Getting a distinct feeling we’re being watched, though not picking up lifeforms on the scanners.

Dispatch again when contact made.

Cheers Steve. Should be a dramatic read – finishing up the proof-read changes as we speak so should be out soon 🙂
